Expert knowledge of usability principles and techniques
    Strong, clean visual design sense.
    Design tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel etc.
    Strong domain on HTML, CSS, Javascript, - AJAX. HTML5 is a plus
    Best practices of client-side web development: tableless, multi-browser compatibility, etc)
    Prototyping tools: Axure, Flash, or comparable
    Experience in developing UX concepts through user scenarios and wireframes
    Strong visual presentation skills with an eye for detail and accuracy a must.
    3 - 5 years of software UI design experience with related usability knowledge like:
    User-Centered Design: experience in create solutions from observations to sketches to wireframes to interactive prototypes;
    Information Architecture/User Interface Design: defining functional requirement specifications consisting of conceptual models, interaction flow diagrams, navigational maps, wireframes, and mockups.
    Usability Testing: Support testing of the interaction designs and prototypes; analyze the results to incorporate field data into iterations.
    Demonstrated experience in web-designing compelling and quality web-interfaces.

Description:

    Analyze the purpose and workflow of web applications and intranet sites.
    Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas for our users, clients, and stakeholders.
    Design to improve the web application user experience and to meet user needs that result from usability test findings.
    Create UI simulations with (iRise/Flash/PowerPoint) to simulate applications in an iterative design process.
    Create UI mockups and final webpages of recommended design and navigation solutions within Fireworks or other design/implementation tool.
    Provide expert usability consultation for clients on applications and intranet sites.
    Work closely with development resources in refining application functionality.
    Ensure an excellent user experience in products by reviewing applications and intranet sites for logic, clarity, text chunking, understandable language, appropriate links, and relevance to users.
